Magnesium stearate CM-A is white fine powder, non-toxic, inodorous, tasteless, combustible,density 1.028g/cm3,melting point: 88.5 centigrade, dissolved in the hot ethanol and little water. It is decimposed to stearic acid and  Mg salt when it is reacted with strong acid.
